Dr. Austin

Dr. Jonathan Austin is a Lincoln County native. He is a 2004 graduate of West Lincoln High School. After high school he attended Appalachian State University. During this time he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he completed two deployments. 

Post Marine Corps, Dr. Austin returned to Appalachian where he completed his degree in Cell and Molecular Biology with a minor in Chemistry. He then attended East Carolina School of Dental Medicine, and obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. 

Dr. Austin is a strong supporter of being actively involved with the community that he lives in. He is involved with many community organizations, and strives to support local events. He volunteers with the North Carolina Missions of Mercy, Baptist Dental Bus, and Give Kids a Smile. He is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Denver/Lake Norman Rotary Club.  

His Wife Kelly, and two children (Dillon and Clara) live in Lincoln County. His wife is from Lincolnton as well. They are proud of their hometown, and love being back home.
